Job Summary

The Data Analyst Team Manager will lead a team focused on leveraging data and artificial intelligence (AI) to drive data-informed decision-making across the organization. This role will oversee the development of predictive models, AI-powered dashboards, and scalable data solutions that support mission-critical functions including conservation, fundraising, outreach, and membership engagement.

Supervisory Responsibilities β€’ Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff. β€’ Oversees the daily workflow of the department. β€’ Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations. β€’ Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy. β€’ Performs other related duties as assigned. Duties And Responsibilities β€’ Lead and mentor a team of data analysts and data scientists in designing and implementing AI-driven analytics solutions. β€’ Oversee the development of machine learning models for predictive insights (e.g., donor behavior, engagement propensity, habitat usage).

β€’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI integration in operational workflows, including GIS, marketing, and volunteer management. β€’ Ensure the delivery of high-quality PowerBI dashboards and automated reporting tools tailored to business needs. β€’ Drive experimentation and statistical analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of AI initiatives and marketing campaigns. β€’ Maintain data governance standards, ensuring compliance with privacy and security protocols. β€’ Stay current with emerging AI technologies and trends and assess their applicability within the organization.

β€’ Attend annual NWTF Convention, regional meetings and training opportunities, as necessary. Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities: β€’ Proven experience with AI/ML tools and platforms (e.g., Python, R, TensorFlow, Azure ML). β€’ Strong proficiency in bolthires Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate). β€’ Hands-on experience with data lakes, including architecture, ingestion, and querying strategies. β€’ Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. β€’ Experience in nonprofit or conservation sectors is a plus.

Preferred Skills β€’ Familiarity with GIS data and spatial analytics. β€’ Experience managing AI initiatives in cross-functional environments. β€’ Knowledge of Copilot and generative AI applications for internal productivity. Education And Experience β€’ Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field. β€’ 5+ years of experience in data analytics, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Physical Requirements β€’ Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

β€’ Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. Salary Description β€’ $100,000.00 Minimum Annual
