We’re seeking experienced Security Analysts to join our Care and Response Team. This contract role offers the opportunity to combat real-time threats, analyze sophisticated attacks, and directly protect Word Press websites from malicious activity while working with industry-leading security professionals.
Your Mission: Investigate, Remediate, and Fortify Word Press Security As a Word Press Security Analyst, you will serve on the front lines of website defense, investigating compromises, removing malware, and strengthening security postures for customers worldwide. Your work will directly contribute to our threat intelligence and help protect the broader Word Press ecosystem. Key Responsibilities: • Incident Response: Investigate compromised Word Press installations, identify intrusion vectors, and execute complete remediation • Malware Analysis: Detect and remove sophisticated malware, including polymorphic code, while preserving legitimate website functionality • Threat Intelligence: Collect and process indicators of compromise to enhance our detection capabilities and signature development • Vulnerability Research: Triage and validate bug bounty submissions, reproduce exploits, and assess security impact • Customer Communication: Professionally guide customers through security incidents and explain technical concepts in accessible terms • Security Hardening: Identify and eliminate security weaknesses to prevent future compromises • Tool Development: Create regular expressions and custom signatures to detect emerging threats in real-time Technical Requirements: • 3+ years of deep Word Press experience including hooks, themes, and plugin architecture • 2+ years conducting hands‑on remediation of compromised websites • Strong proficiency with PHP, MySQL, Java Script, and regular expressions • Experience with Linux administration and common web application vulnerabilities • Ability to analyze log files and determine root causes of security incidents • Familiarity with security tools like Burp Suite and PHP debuggers • Understanding of major vulnerability types and exploitation techniques Preferred
