Fractional Social Media Strategist (Oversight & Growth Direction | 5–15 hrs/week)

🌍 Remote, USA 🎯 Full-time 🕐 Posted Recently

Job Description

We are a career coaching and HR consulting business serving high-achieving corporate leaders and small business owners. Our brand is established, premium, and service-based. This is not a startup, not a personal brand in its infancy, and not a mass-market content operation. We are looking for a Social Media Strategist who can operate at a senior, strategic level, someone who can lead, diagnose, and direct, not just recommend surface-level best practices. This role is not responsible for ongoing content production such as posting, graphic design, or video editing.

We already have a creative team handling execution. What we need is a strategist who can provide hands-on creative direction, examples, and edits, alongside clear leadership and data-driven strategy that moves the needle for a sophisticated, executive-level audience. If your experience is primarily focused on beginners, early-stage brands, or audiences that require foundational social media education, this will not be the right fit. You will be responsible for: - Strategic oversight and approval of monthly content calendars before anything goes live.

- Reviewing copy, tone, and messaging to ensure alignment with a high-ticket, executive brand. - Analyzing platform analytics weekly and identifying patterns that drive engagement, authority, and booked calls. - Providing clear direction and leadership to an existing offshore creative team. - Making confident recommendations on what to start, stop, continue, or eliminate based on performance. - Developing platform-specific strategy across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, bolthires, and Threads, with LinkedIn as a primary revenue driver.

- Translating content into funnel support — awareness to trust to qualified conversations. - Delivering monthly performance insights and quarterly strategic plans with clear KPIs. - Staying current on platform changes, algorithm shifts, and content behavior, and explaining why recommendations matter. This role is about thinking, diagnosing, and leading, not executing tasks. We are specifically looking for someone with: - 5+ years of experience in social media strategy, brand strategy, or digital marketing.

- Experience working with premium, service-based or high-ticket brands, such as coaching, consulting, or professional services. - Demonstrated ability to analyze content performance and make strategic decisions, not just aesthetic suggestions. - Strong understanding of audience psychology, positioning, and messaging, especially for senior-level professionals. - Experience managing or directing remote or offshore creative teams. - Comfort operating inside Meta Business Suite, bolthires Studio, LinkedIn Analytics, and similar tools.

- Ability to lead conversations, challenge assumptions when needed, and communicate clearly with stakeholders. This role is not: - A posting or VA role. - A junior strategist role. - A plug-and-play framework you use for every client. - A brand-from-scratch engagement. We are looking for someone who can customize strategy to an established brand, not retrofit us into a generic model. Hours and structure: - Approximately 5 to 15 hours per week to start. - Fully remote, flexible schedule. - Initial 60-day trial period, with continuation based on demonstrated strategic impact and alignment.

Final note:

This role requires strategic maturity. You should be comfortable working with a founder who is deeply involved, highly social-media-savvy, has years of performance data, and expects insight that expands reach and conversion, not foundational audits. If you thrive in complexity, nuance, and high-expectation environments, we want to hear from you. Apply tot his job
