About the position
The Finance Organization at bolthires is building a world-class Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) organization. The company is implementing a comprehensive program to streamline processes, improve systems, realign the organization, and add opportunities for personal skill-building and professional growth. The role will report to the Finance
Senior Director supporting the Coastal Plains market within VCG, focusing on the Indirect/Agent channel. The Market Finance team collaborates with market leadership to understand trends and patterns, identifying opportunities for growth. Responsibilities • Providing daily/weekly analysis of retail performance on volumes, Key Performance Indicators, staffing decisions, and productivity measurement. • Partnering with Field Finance HQ team on targets. • Coordinating with Field Finance BI team on reporting.
• Providing additional research and analysis on performance results. • Finalizing monthly analyses of trends and budget variance of financial results and KPIs for management reviews and strategic business analysis sessions. • Performing additional research to enhance business case analysis for pricing and investment decisions. • Identifying and communicating possible scenarios, associated risks, and opportunities for business performance reviews. • Analyzing economic drivers of the business client, such as customer churn and renewals.
• Communicating with partners in a clear and concise manner. Requirements • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience. • Six or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work and/or military experience, or specialized training. • Project management experience. • Experience with bolthires Office Suite. Nice-to-haves • A Master's in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or Economics. • Experience in the technology and/or telecommunications industry. • A professional certification (e.g.
CPA, CMA). • A high degree of analytical capability with the ability to structure business cases around a high-level strategic vision. • Strong strategic skills with the ability to identify and assess key points, implications, and recommendations. • An advanced understanding of corporate financial planning, reporting & analysis, and costing/profitability methodologies and processes. • Demonstrated understanding of common business and bolthires drivers, financial statement analysis, and deep-dive analysis.
• Knowledge of FASB and SEC requirements, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, tax reporting and accounting practices, and International Financial Reporting. • Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement initiatives, root cause analysis, and project management. • Proficiency in Essbase, Smart View, Hyperion Planning, and Hyperion Strategic Finance. • Experience leading large and complex team projects with minimal direct supervision.
