Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to at arenaflex. As a Sr. Gear Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting our crew across all disciplines, identifying workflow inefficiencies, and developing solutions to enhance team performance. You will collaborate with our Art, Design, and Engineering teams to generate candidate answers, weigh tradeoffs, and implement selected solutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping us create high-quality games that exceed our players' expectations.
Key Responsibilities Proactively identify inefficiencies and elaborate areas in our improvement technique across disciplines Maintain, extend, and aid present development gear Build and guide custom asset pipelines Grow arenaflex's proprietary libraries, tools, and technologies across game engines and structures Collaborate with the crew to generate candidate answers, weigh tradeoffs, and implement selected solutions Assist, develop, and preserve arenaflex's present set of engine-specific and custom gear Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have a strong passion for empowering others to do their best work.
You should enjoy working with the overall device lifecycle, from coming across issues to evaluating the effectiveness of implemented tools. Additionally, you should have experience with custom standalone gear and be capable of growing gear that can be utilized by many game development disciplines. Technical Requirements Proficiency in C#, C++, Python Experience with the overall device lifecycle: coming across issues, comparing capacity answers, implementing tools, and evaluating their effectiveness Ability to work effectively in a self-directed environment Preferred Qualifications While not required, experience with custom game engines, Unreal or Unity, JavaScript, and Net tech would be highly desirable.
