Job Overview
The Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for bridging the gap between external content creation teams and arenaflex's internal tools engineering team. This involves providing technical support, creating reference materials, and delivering training to external teams to ensure they are proficient in using arenaflex's toolset. Key Responsibilities Provide technical support to external content teams regarding the use of content tools, ensuring timely resolution of issues and minimizing downtime. Create comprehensive reference materials and deliver training sessions to external teams, enabling them to effectively utilize arenaflex's toolset and workflows. Debug and solve issues with tools and workflows, escalating complex problems to the tools development team and collaborating with production to track issues in JIRA. Advocate for tools, workflow improvements, and suggestions from external teams, ensuring that their feedback is heard and incorporated into the development process.
Partner with other engineers to develop tools and processes that enhance efficiency and quality, driving innovation and excellence in content creation. Guide or lead cross-disciplinary discussions to drive features from initial concept to completion, fostering a culture of collaboration and creativity. Exemplify reliability, accountability, and professionalism in all work-related interactions, maintaining the highest standards of integrity and expertise. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you should possess: A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience in a technical support or software development environment.
Experience supporting a live service or tool environment, with a strong understanding of the importance of timely issue resolution and effective communication. Familiarity with Unity 3D game and tool development, as well as experience with Jira, Confluence, or other defect tracking software. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with external partners and internal teams. A positive attitude and the ability to receive and provide objective and constructive feedback, with a strong commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience with iOS and Android mobile development, as well as a strong understanding of the principles of software development and design. 5 years' experience in delivering production-level code in a professional environment, with a proven track record of success in technical support or software development roles. Familiarity with C# code and the ability to read and understand complex technical documentation.
Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to prioritize and manage numerous requests simultaneously.
