Job Summary arenaflex is seeking an experienced
Senior Counsel, Digital Products, Data Analytics to join its team. As a
Senior Counsel, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and guidance to business leaders and executives within various specialty units on complex issues that may impact business operations and activities. You will also be responsible for structuring and negotiating business agreements, including master service agreements, provider agreements, data licensing and integration agreements, and supply plans.
Key Responsibilities * Provide expert legal advice and guidance to business leaders and executives within various specialty units on complex issues that may impact business operations and activities * Exhibit mastery in technology transactions, product counseling, intellectual property, marketing, security, and security regulations, as well as the ability to be a generalist and learn new areas of regulation and legal skills rapidly while providing start-to-finish product counseling * Structure and negotiate many business agreements on behalf of arenaflex's Digital and Information Analysis/Experiences Organizations, including master service agreements, provider agreements, data licensing and integration agreements, and supply plans * Collaborate with teams across arenaflex's
Advanced Products and Information Analysis groups and close outside partners that are building, delivering, and operating technology for use by customers and patients * Work cross-functionally with the business, product, marketing, protection, security, and technology groups to develop and launch arenaflex's digital product and service offerings for public consumption * Understand arenaflex's digital product and service offerings, technology, security/information insurance frameworks and strategies, and standard business and other agreements, to provide a foundation for offering legal support throughout arenaflex's Digital groups * Maintain a knowledge of arenaflex's organizations, technology, and product objectives, and challenges to establish and implement intellectual property portfolio systems that align with those objectives, capture interests in development, and limit legal risk, working closely with outside counsel Work Liabilities * Primarily use knowledge of legal specialty in providing advice as it builds its insight into the business setting in which it works * Review and prepare official records before presentation to the board for execution to ensure accurate expression of the legal substance * May receive explicit direction from management or more senior legal experts regarding the results, process, and timelines anticipated * Collaborate with the specialty units that it serves to achieve corporate goals and reduce unnecessary business risk * Research legal standards and precedents, engage and manage outside counsel, draft official records, assemble relevant case-related data using multiple sources and methods, provide work direction to other professionals, paraprofessionals, and support staff in developing solutions to issues presented * Maintain knowledge and awareness of the legal and business trends that could impact those specialty units within arenaflex that it serves Essential Qualifications * Juris Doctorate from a licensed graduate school and at least 5 years of post-bar lawyer legal work experience in a mix of law firm and corporate settings * Required licensure to provide legal counsel in at least one state * Required Illinois bar enrollment or active bar participation in good standing in at least one U.S.
jurisdiction * Experience using time management skills, such as prioritizing/scheduling and tracking details and meeting time constraints of various projects with differing completion dates * At least 5 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace * At least 5 years of direct leadership, indirect leadership, or potentially cross-functional team leadership Preferred Qualifications * Ability to act in a fast-paced environment where prioritization and capacity to work independently are necessary for success If you are a motivated and experienced legal professional looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
