Job Summary We're seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Storage Administrator to oversee and manage our data storage infrastructure, ensuring seamless data backup and recovery, high availability, and optimal performance.
As a key member of our IT team, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our data storage solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing expert guidance on best practices and industry standards. Key Responsibilities * Develop and maintain a deep understanding of enterprise data storage solutions, including NAS, SAN, and DAS technologies * Design, implement, and manage data storage infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance * Collaborate with application, database, server, and other technology teams to ensure seamless data storage and retrieval * Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for daily and ad-hoc tasks * Provide expert technical support and guidance on complex tasks, such as installation, configuration, and backup/recovery operations * Perform code updates and security patches to maintain the integrity of storage systems * Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure arenaflex remains at the forefront of innovation Essential Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (a combination of education, training, and experience may be considered) * 3+ years of experience in data storage or a related field, with a focus on networking and storage protocols * Industry knowledge and experience with large-scale SAN design and implementation * Proven expertise in enterprise storage management, with experience in DellEMC, Cisco, and similar OEMs * Strong understanding of current and emerging data security technologies * Experience with NAS protocols (CIFS, NFS, and S3) * Knowledge of data synchronization technologies for both SAN and NAS * Operating system platform expertise (both Linux and Windows) * VMWare knowledge and experience Preferred Qualifications * Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field * Experience with cloud storage solutions (AWS, Azure, bolthires Cloud) * Certification in data storage, security, or a related field (e.g., CompTIA, VMware) * Strong understanding of data analytics and business intelligence * Experience with DevOps and continuous integration/continuous deployment (bolthires/CD) pipelines * Familiarity with agile project management methodologies
