Senior Concept Artist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for: * Developing and creating convincing concepts and assets that meet the IP express brand and in-game style rules * Creating highly detailed and polished player-facing key art that achieves the vision, mission, and high-level objectives of the game * Collaborating with the team to develop a cohesive and clear visual identity that aligns with the game's objectives and tells a story * Ensuring all missions and resources meet the engaging nature of the visual plan of the games * Developing new and innovative ideas, and rendering 2D portrayals * Creating storyboards to present ideas and provide guidance to the team * Creating frame-figured art that can be reused for character and environment resource creation * Showcasing iconography to enhance design efforts * Presenting and collaborating with other artists in both the game development team and IP partners to ensure the visual identity of our brand is consistent * Demonstrating reliability, commitment, and ability to exceed expectations in all business-related interactions Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: * 1 year of experience in a similar gaming or creative studio environment * Experience with recording processes * In-depth understanding of synthesis and variety theory * Working knowledge of practical/visual/expressive models in art, film, and games * Strong understanding of visual storytelling and IP-related design efforts * Taught in a wide range of mediums, including website designs, virtual reality, progression creatives, photography, flags, and records Preferred Qualifications * Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator * Strong capacity to create engaging and varied visual resources in different styles * Proficiency in modern painting techniques, including advanced and player-facing shimmer * Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities and be flexible in a rapidly changing environment with minimal guidance * Excellent communication, collaboration, and drive skills * Supportive team-driven mindset with a strong ability to convey and receive critical feedback * Ability to coach and mentor junior artists in a related field * Familiarity with project management tools, such as Conceded Results or Spine, is a plus What We Offer As a
