Overview We are a fast-growing functional mushroom brand looking for an experienced CRO and DTC conversion specialist to optimize our Lion’s Mane extract landing page. This is not a basic redesign. We need someone who understands how to: Increase conversion rate Improve perceived value & trust Drive higher customer lifetime value (LTV) through smart page structure, messaging, and flow
Our product is third-party tested, fruiting-body-only, and significantly more potent than leading competitors, and the landing page must clearly communicate that advantage to educated buyers.
Primary Goals
Your work will focus on: Increasing conversion rate (CVR) Increasing average order value (AOV) Increasing retention & subscription adoption Clarifying product outcomes and differentiation Reducing hesitation, confusion, and friction Scope of Work You will be responsible for: 1. Landing Page Optimization Analyze the current Lion’s Mane landing page Identify drop-off points and friction Improve page structure, hierarchy, and flow Rewrite or refine above-the-fold messaging Improve product explanation without hype or medical claims 2.
Conversion & Trust Elements Improve how we communicate: Potency & lab testing Comparison vs competitors Why our extract is different (fruiting body, testing, mg per serving) Optimize placement of: Social proof Trust badges Lab data summaries FAQs 3. LTV & Retention Improvements Strategically position: Subscriptions (without being salesy) Bundles or follow-on products Improve habit-formation messaging Align copy with long-term use outcomes (clarity, focus, consistency) 4. A/B Testing Strategy (Optional Bonus) Recommend test ideas for: Headlines Value framing Offer structure Provide a clear testing roadmap if data supports it What We’re Looking For You are a strong fit if you: Have proven CRO experience for DTC supplements or wellness brands Understand how to sell scientific or lab-backed products without sounding clinical Can balance credibility + emotion + clarity Think in terms of funnels and LTV, not just page aesthetics Can explain why a change improves conversions Required Experience CRO for Shopify or DTC brands Conversion-focused copywriting UX optimization for long-form sales pages Experience with subscriptions or repeat-purchase products Nice to Have (Not Required) Experience with functional mushrooms, supplements, or nootropics Familiarity with: Hotjar / Clarity bolthires Analytics Shopify / Klaviyo ecosystems Deliverables Optimized landing page structure & copy (or Figma / bolthires Doc) Clear explanation of changes and rationale Recommendations for improving: CVR AOV LTV Optional test plan To Apply (IMPORTANT) Please include: 1–2 examples of landing pages you optimized
The before/after results (conversion lift, AOV, retention, etc.) A short explanation of how you approach CRO for high-trust, lab-backed products Applications without CRO results or relevant experience will not be considered.
