This role provides a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of capital markets and structured finance, combining deep financial knowledge with cutting-edge data analytics. You will analyze complex loan-level data and deliver actionable insights that directly impact decision-making for investors and financial institutions. The position involves collaborating closely with engineering teams to develop innovative analytical solutions and working directly with clients to provide reporting and advisory services.
You will gain exposure to multiple asset classes, structured finance transactions, and advanced analytics tools. This is a hands-on role where technical proficiency, financial expertise, and client engagement intersect to drive meaningful outcomes in a high-impact, fast-paced environment. Accountabilities • Analyze large datasets from multiple asset classes including mortgages, personal loans, auto, and small business lending. • Extract insights from loan-level originations, servicing data, and securitization reports to support client decision-making.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and productize analytical solutions for both internal and external use. • Deliver reporting, dashboards, and analytics services to clients, including hedge funds, banks, and asset originators. • Validate, clean, and interpret complex financial data to ensure accuracy and reliability. • Present findings and recommendations clearly to internal teams and client stakeholders. • Support the ongoing development of data workflows, tools, and best practices for structured finance analysis.
Requirements • 5+ years of experience working with financial data, with knowledge of loan-level data, securitizations, or multiple asset classes preferred. • Proficiency in SQL, R, or Python for data analysis and manipulation. • Strong understanding of financial concepts and data reporting, including investor and trustee reports. • Ability to synthesize detailed transactional data into actionable insights. • Detail-oriented, multi-tasking professional capable of managing multiple analytical threads simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills for conveying findings and collaborating with internal teams and clients. • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
