Job Description
We are developing a project involving DNA and genetic testing and require an experienced EU-based or EU-focused data protection lawyer for compliance consulting and document preparation. Key Requirements: - Expertise in EU data protection law, with strong focus on GDPR for health and genetic data (special category data). - Knowledge of relevant national laws (e.g., in Germany, France, or other Member States) regarding genetic testing. - Experience conducting DPIA, drafting consent mechanisms, and handling international data transfers (EU-US).
- Proven track record drafting privacy policies, terms of service, and cookie policies for health-related websites. Scope of Work: - Initial consultation (1–2 hours) on GDPR risks specific to genetic testing. - Drafting and reviewing privacy policy, terms and conditions, and other documents compliant with EU regulations. - Advice on best practices for processing sensitive genetic data and user rights. - Potential ongoing advisory support. Project Details: Fully remote freelance position. Estimated initial time: 5–10 hours.
