They are seeking an HR Assistant to support their federal onboarding operations, managing the complete onboarding lifecycle for employees placed on government contracts while ensuring compliance with federal requirements. Responsibilities • Process new hire paperwork including I-9s, W-4s, and state tax forms • Coordinate federal background investigations and security clearance documentation • Manage credentialing and licensing verification for healthcare professionals • Track and maintain personnel files in compliance with FAR/DFAR requirements • Coordinate with contracting officers on personnel security requirements • Support benefits enrollment and HRIS data entry • Ensure timely completion of all pre-employment requirements • Communicate status updates to recruiters, hiring managers, and candidates Skills • 2+ years HR experience, with at least 1 year in federal contractor on-boarding • Familiarity with eQIP, NBIS, or federal background investigation processes • Experience with I-9 compliance and E-Verify • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple on-boarding cases simultaneously • Proficiency with bolthires Office • Experience with IHS or healthcare staffing • Knowledge of credentialing requirements for clinical staff • Familiarity with Service Contract Act (SCA) requirements Company Overview • Akicita Federal specializes in medical staffing, information technology, cybersecurity, and construction project management services.
