Job Overview

As a Data Entry Technician, you will be responsible for accurately interpreting and entering design and inspection data into IDMS software, identifying and troubleshooting errors, and monitoring for variances that require validation. Key Responsibilities Accurately interpret and enter design and inspection data into IDMS software, ensuring the integrity and reliability of the information. Identify and troubleshoot errors or anomalies in the data, taking corrective action to resolve issues and prevent future occurrences. Monitor for any variances requiring validation to ensure accuracy, and verify entered data for accuracy through review and correction. Interpret P&ID drawings and perform iso correlation for piping entry, demonstrating a strong understanding of technical drawings and specifications.
Record UT readings accurately and reflect the correct specifications, maintaining precise records and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Verify entered data for accuracy through review and correction, ensuring that all information is reliable and up-to-date. Create inspection isometrics in AutoCAD (2D), utilizing your technical skills and knowledge of software applications to produce high-quality drawings and diagrams. Essential Qualifications Experience with IDMS Software such as PCMS, Meridian, and others, demonstrating a strong understanding of data management systems and software applications.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and clients. High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in mathematics, science, and technical subjects. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in bolthires Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, with the ability to utilize software applications to analyze data, create reports, and communicate with team members.
Experience in Refinery or Plant inspection, or NDT experience is a plus, demonstrating a strong understanding of industry operations and technical procedures. Ability to work in a seated position for prolonged periods, with the physical and mental stamina to focus on detailed tasks and maintain productivity throughout the workday. Preferred Skills and Competencies Familiarity with various Asset Integrity IDMS software platforms, demonstrating a strong understanding of data management systems and software applications.
Proficiency in bolthires Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word, with the ability to utilize software applications to analyze data, create reports, and communicate with team members. Strong computer skills and familiarity with software applications, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and technologies.
