Job Summary As an Enterprise Data Storage Administrator, you'll be responsible for overseeing and maintaining our data storage infrastructure, ensuring the security and integrity of our data.
You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement best practices, and provide expert guidance on data storage and management. This is a full-time position, working 8 hours a day, with a competitive salary of $24/hour. Key Responsibilities * Develop and implement data storage strategies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices * Manage and maintain our data storage infrastructure, including NAS, SAN, and DAS systems * Collaborate with application, database, server, and other technology teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal data storage solutions * Provide expert guidance on data storage and management, including data backup and recovery, data security, and data archiving * Develop and maintain documentation for data storage and management processes * Troubleshoot and resolve complex data storage issues, including data corruption, data loss, and data security breaches * Stay up-to-date with the latest data storage technologies and trends, and implement new solutions as needed * Work collaboratively with the team to achieve project goals and objectives Essential Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field * 3 years of experience in data storage or a related field, with a focus on networking and storage protocols * Industry knowledge and experience with large-scale SAN design and implementation * Strong understanding of enterprise storage systems, including DellEMC, Cisco, and similar OEMs * Experience with NAS concepts and protocols (CIFS, NFS, and S3) * Knowledge of data synchronization technologies for both SAN and NAS * Operating system framework organization skills (both Linux and Windows) * VMWare concepts and organization * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications * Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field * Experience with cloud-based data storage solutions * Strong understanding of data security and compliance regulations * Experience with data backup and recovery solutions * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams * Experience with project management tools and methodologies * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Skills and Competencies * Strong technical skills, with a focus on data storage and management * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams * Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment * Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines * Ability to work collaboratively with the team to achieve project goals and objectives * Strong understanding of data security and compliance regulations * Experience with data backup and recovery solutions * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
