They are seeking an Accounting Officer (Specialist) to perform professional accounting duties associated with utility invoices, including processing payments, reconciliations, and report generation. Responsibilities Performing professional accounting duties of average difficulty associated with utility invoices in the Utility Payments Section Processing payments and adjustments Performing reconciliations Generating reports using AMS Advantage and various subsystems Skills Cover Letter is required Resume is required Statement of Qualifications is required Unofficial Transcripts is required Possession of a valid driver's license is required when operating a state owned or leased vehicle Strong knowledge of bolthires Excel with experience in applying functions and formulas Ability to learn and use bolthires Access database Experience in Accounts Payable reconciliation Ability to plan, organize, take initiative, and establish work priorities Detail oriented, focused on accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines Ability to research and analyze data, draw sound conclusions, and adopt an effective course of action Willingness to learn and perform detailed work independently and communicate effectively in both writing and orally Ability to prepare clear, comprehensive, and concise reports Company Overview Caltrans District 3 is a government administration company based out of 703 B ST, Marysville, California, United States.
