They are seeking a Strategy & Operations Software Generalist to build and maintain internal tools, streamline operations, and support engineering initiatives. Responsibilities Build and maintain internal tools, automation systems, and software solutions across the organization Develop scripts and applications to streamline operations and eliminate manual processes Support engineering initiatives and ad-hoc technical projects for leadership Design and implement data pipelines, dashboards, and reporting systems Integrate and optimize third-party tools and APIs across business functions Contribute to infrastructure automation and DevOps workflows Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions Work closely with leadership to execute on technical priorities Write clean, maintainable code for internal tools and automation projects Manage multiple concurrent software projects with a high degree of autonomy Liaise with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, troubleshoot technical issues, and deliver solutions Debug and optimize existing systems and processes Continuously identify opportunities to solve problems through software and automation Skills Build and maintain internal tools, automation systems, and software solutions across the organization Develop scripts and applications to streamline operations and eliminate manual processes Support engineering initiatives and ad-hoc technical projects for leadership Design and implement data pipelines, dashboards, and reporting systems Integrate and optimize third-party tools and APIs across business functions Contribute to infrastructure automation and DevOps workflows Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions Work closely with leadership to execute on technical priorities Write clean, maintainable code for internal tools and automation projects Manage multiple concurrent software projects with a high degree of autonomy Liaise with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, troubleshoot technical issues, and deliver solutions Debug and optimize existing systems and processes Continuously identify opportunities to solve problems through software and automation Strong programming fundamentals and software engineering practices Problem-solving mindset with ability to architect solutions from ambiguous requirements Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision Adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic, ambiguous environment Strong communications & stakeholder management Intrinsic bias towards action Fluidstack is looking for someone who can 'hit the ground running' and take full ownership of their work.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment 1-4 years of experience in a fast-paced, generalist operations or consulting role, ideally at a startup or scale-up Engineering background, preferred in fields such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Physics Experience with programming, scripting or statistical packages (e.g. Python, R, Matlab, SQL) Track record of shipping projects independently in fast-paced environments Interest in or exposure to the tech/AI industry preferred but not required Benefits Total compensation may also include equity in the form of stock options.
