They are seeking a motivated Insurance Product Analyst to analyze complex business problems, support strategic decisions, and contribute to the success of the Commercial Auto Insurance Product Management team. Responsibilities Develop, prepare, and interpret statistical analyses of key business metrics to help support strategic decisions within the business unit Develop, interpret, and present analysis and proposals to various stakeholder groups to help solve mid to high level business problems in pursuit of company goals Employ basic statistical techniques to model various underwriting and pricing business practices Skills Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Math, Statistics, Data/Business Analytics, or other relevant quantitative field of study OR Bachelor's degree in any field of study plus prior experience Proven analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities Highly effective communication skills Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel Basic to intermediate proficiency in SQL or other similar languages to extract data Basic to intermediate proficiency with data analysis software like R, SAS, Python, or Power BI Ability to work independently given general direction and to thrive in a team environment that is constantly changing Ability to handle multiple concurrent priorities, providing accurate and timely results Intellectual curiosity to learn and ability to ask insightful questions Effective time management, attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills 1 - 2 years of analytical experience in insurance or a similar field required Previous experience in auto insurance is a plus Benefits Premier Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with no waiting period Paid Vacation, Sick and Parental Leave 401(k) Plan Tuition Assistance including Direct Billing and Reimbursement payment plan options Paid Training, Licensures, and Certificates
