About Our Client
Page Personnel are working alongside an established organisation in York who are looking for a permanent entry Level Finance Assistant. The reputable business is interested in seeing recently graduated finance professionals, any finance graduates with 1-2 years post graduation alongside any candidates with a strong interest in getting into a long term career in Finance, to supply them with exposure to a large range of financial functions and duties. Job Description
Ā Assist in preparing financial reports and statements
Ā Ensure receipts and payments are coded and posted to the correct ledgers
Ā Processing transactions and reconcilling accounts
Ā Support the accounting department in day-to-day operations
Ā... Work closely with the finance team to ensure accuracy of financial data
Ā Process invoices, expenses and payments
Ā Follow up on outstanding debts
Ā Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the team's objectives
The Successful Applicant
A successful Entry Level Finance Assistant should have:
Ā A strong interest in finance and accounting
Ā Finance and Accounting Graduates are preferred but not essential
Ā Excellent numerical and analytical skills
Ā Good attention to detail and organisational skills
Ā Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
Ā Competent IT skills, particularly with spreadsheets
