The Data Engineer Analyst will support the Customer360 platform architecture, design and implementation of enhancements, and collaborate with various teams to fulfill business needs. Responsibilities Organizes, interprets, and analyzes more complex data across their area of responsibility to support business and corporate strategic goals Familiarity with several programming languages and knowledge of learning machine methods commonly used in data science applications Build or support creation of data models and pipelines Evaluate business needs and objectives of our users, assist in project scoping Help prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modeling Combine raw and provisioned information from different data sources Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability and develop procedures to implement improvements Identify opportunities for data acquisition across Lincolnβs systems Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, data scientists and architects on simple to complex projects Identifies and recommends process improvements that significantly reduce workloads or improve quality for their assigned area(s) of responsibility Maintains an understanding of how the data contained in the various systems are utilized, and is able to triangulate various aspects of the data into a usable format to support decision making Serves as a resource to advise management & business stakeholders on use of quality business analytics, tools, and methods to improve efficiency, accuracy, and interpretation of various business metrics Skills 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) in Data Engineering (Minimum Required) 1 - 3+ Years of data engineering experience, which can include internships while completing a degree Working knowledge of AWS services EKS, EC2, S3, Cloudwatch and others Working knowledge of code based CICD ETL programs using Gitlab with AWS Foundational knowledge of Dataiku or similar Data Science Modelling and Automation Platforms Foundational knowledge of visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI) Foundational knowledge of various languages like SQL and Python Working knowledge of API service integrations Benefits Clearly defined career tracks and job levels, along with associated behaviors for each of Lincoln's core values and leadership attributes Leadership development and virtual training opportunities PTO/parental leave Competitive 401K and employee benefits Free financial counseling, health coaching and employee assistance program Tuition assistance program Work arrangements that work for you Effective productivity/technology tools and training Company Overview Lincoln Financial (NYSE: LNC) helps people to confidently plan for their version of a successful future.
