The University of Tennessee, Knoxville (UTK) is seeking an Assistant Director of Application Management Processing to enhance the accessibility of higher education and improve student recruitment and graduation. The role involves providing leadership in the undergraduate admissions application process and identifying efficiencies to improve service to students. Responsibilities

This position is responsible for providing leadership and supervision related to components of the undergraduate admissions application process

The Assistant Director will work to identify new efficiencies that directly impact service to students

The position will ensure up to date documentation of policies and procedures related to the application management process Additionally, CRM data reporting, effective protocols will be assessed in collaboration with the Associate Director of Application Management and Integrated Systems

This position assists with managing application review/decisions and holistic review of entering first-year, transfer, re-admit, dual enrollment, visiting and non-degree applicants Skills Associates degree- 3+ years of experience working in Enrollment Management at a large university, or Bachelor's degree- 1+ year of experience working in Enrollment Management at a large university Ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities at one time Demonstrated ability to lead in a team environment, excellent oral, written and interpersonal problem-solving skills Knowledge of HTML, SQL, XML, or other similar formats

Advanced skills in a variety of computer applications and reporting tools Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to end users, business stakeholders and management both verbally and in writing Ability to prioritize and organize tasks to meet deadlines and follow through on assignments with minimal direction, often under pressure Excellent analytical, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills Ability to exercise sound judgment, discretion, and tact with all levels of constituents Skills of working independently in a changing environment with accuracy and attention to detail Demonstrated ability creating reports (MS Access and Excel) Ability to work with large data sets, verifying and checking data thoroughly for accuracy and completeness, and importing and exporting files between software programs Knowledge of Banner Knowledge of recruitment/enrollment process Master's degree- Proven success in evaluation and improvement in Undergraduate Admissions Operational efficiencies and automation of routines Self-motivation, team attitude and commitment to high standard of excellence Benefits Generous paid leave, accruing up to 24 days of vacation and 12 days of sick leave annually, plus 14 paid holidays and administrative closing days Flexible work arrangements, offering a hybrid schedule to most team members Education benefits for employees and their dependents at UT System campuses Retirement and deferred compensation plans, including 401(k), 403(b), etc.
