Credit Union of Colorado is seeking a Loan Servicing Representative responsible for the meticulous intake, review, and processing of vehicle title documents. The role involves managing loan servicing records and providing support for collateral management and information requests. Responsibilities Receive and meticulously review vehicle title documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with state regulations Identify and resolve discrepancies or errors in title documents Ensure proper documentation and tracking of all title-related transactions Process vehicle title transfers and lien releases, ensuring timely and accurate completion Maintain accurate records of vehicle titles and lien information Assist with the release of liens on auto loans Prepare, scan, and index title documents and other loan servicing records into the imaging system Maintain and update electronic and physical records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with retention policies Perform batch/document indexing and resolve issues with unreadable documents Assist with other collateral management tasks, including insurance claims processing, GAP/warranty administration, and UCC lien releases Support the monitoring of loans for adequate insurance coverage Respond to requests for title documents and related information from internal and external stakeholders Assist related departments with title document requests Ensure all title document processing and records management activities comply with credit union policies and state regulations Maintain accurate records and complete assigned reports within established deadlines Keep management informed of area activities and potential issues Maintain member confidentiality Provide excellent internal and external customer service, demonstrating courtesy and professionalism Support other loan servicing records personnel as needed Participate in meetings as required Skills One to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Knowledge of Imaging Systems processes and scanning equipment Able to use related PC applications Knowledge of Credit Union computer system and other related computer applications Ability to apply oral and interpersonal skills that develop member confidence, respect and trust in Credit Union of Colorado and develop cooperative relationships with all levels of people throughout the organization Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Ability to write routine reports and correspondence Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form Benefits Competitive benefits package Pay-for-performance compensation program including bonuses Company Overview Credit Union of Colorado is a company that specializes in financial services its headquartered in Denver, Colorado.
