The Community Preservation Corporation (CPC) is a nationally recognized leader in affordable housing finance, committed to investing in multifamily housing. They are seeking a part-time temp HR Assistant to support recruiting operations, drive culture and engagement initiatives, and provide administrative support to the HR team. Responsibilities Prepare and process travel and expense reports and invoices for AVP, Culture & Employee Engagement Manager in a timely and detailed manner Support planning and execution of employee engagement events, including scheduling, coordinating logistics with internal/external participants, arranging materials, room setup, catering, and other tasks as needed Perform administrative tasks including scheduling, catering and program system for internal initiatives including the Corporate Culture Council and Summer Internship and Mentorship Programs Schedule and coordinate candidate interviews Support recruiting activities; maintaining ATS, job postings, external advertising, background check process Participate in Human Resources projects and perform other administrative duties, as needed Skills BA/BS preferred in business administration, HR, industrial psychology or related field or equivalent experience 1-3 years' experience supporting HR operations, employee engagement, or talent acquisition Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in bolthires Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) Highly organized with the ability to manage shifting priorities Candidate must be able to work independently, have a sense of urgency and maintain confidentiality Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now and Ashby, strongly preferred but not required Company Overview
