The role involves providing legal representation for clients and managing a docket of personal injury cases while delivering outstanding client service skills. Responsibilities Managing their docket of personal injury cases Filing lawsuits Conducting depositions Draft and answer discovery Prepare clients for depositions, mediations, motion hearings, and trials Evaluating claims by working with claims representatives Working in a team environment with paralegals and legal secretaries to propound written discovery requests and responses, order and summarize records, coordinate depositions, obtain experts and prepare for depositions and trials Skills Licensed to practice in Texas Graduated from an accredited law school Member in good standing of the State Bar of Texas 1-3 years of pre-litigation experience Ability to provide legal representation Outstanding client service skills Effective communication skills Excellent written skills Excellent verbal skills Analytical skills Self-motivated Strong negotiating skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment Knowledge and experience to manage and move pending cases forward independently Ability to litigate claims and take them to trial when necessary 1-3 years of personal injury litigation experience Strong litigation skills, including discovery, conducting depositions, court appearances, and trial preparation background Experience managing a docket of personal injury cases Experience filing lawsuits Experience conducting depositions Experience drafting and answering discovery Experience preparing clients for depositions, mediations, motion hearings, and trials Experience evaluating claims by working with claims representatives Experience working in a team environment with paralegals and legal secretaries 1-3 years of personal injury litigation experience Strong litigation skills, including discovery, conducting depositions, court appearances, and trial preparation background Benefits 401(k) Dental Insurance Flexible schedule Health Insurance Life insurance Vision Insurance Bonus pay Company Overview When you are injured through another's negligence Herrman & Herrman PLLC is there to help you every step of the way.
