Job Overview In this dynamic and challenging position, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks that contribute to the efficient operation of our pharmacy. Your primary focus will be on remote data entry of prescriptions for all Ontario arenaflex pharmacies, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with provincial regulations. Additionally, you will assist pharmacists in various duties, including updating patient profiles, filling prescriptions, and managing inventory. Key Responsibilities Assist pharmacists in updating patient profiles and entering prescription information into the pharmacy computer system, adhering to provincial regulations and ensuring patient confidentiality. Support pharmacists in filling prescriptions by preparing stock bottles, counting, pouring, restocking, labeling, and pricing prescriptions under direct supervision, following safety and security procedures. Prepare third-party insurance claims, process invoices, and make accounting entries using a computerized system, demonstrating proficiency in financial and administrative tasks.

Manage inventory by ordering, receiving, tagging, and stocking prescription drugs and supplies, following product storage procedures and standards to maintain a well-organized and efficient warehouse. Order, receive, tag, and stock over-the-counter products in accordance with the merchandising plan for the department, creating product signs and performing over-the-counter roaming as needed. Provide remote data entry of prescriptions for all Ontario arenaflex pharmacies, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in data processing.

Assist in other areas of the warehouse as necessary, demonstrating flexibility and a team-oriented approach to work. Qualifications and Experience To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of education, certification, and experience in pharmacy operations. The ideal candidate will have: Completed a pharmacy diploma at a community college or equivalent, providing a solid foundation in pharmacy principles and practices. Obtained certification as required by the province where applicable, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
