Job Summary We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to on a remote basis, working 3rd shift from 11pm to 7am. As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for performing approvals of consumer loans, making payment arrangements, and helping customers with any questions.
You'll work closely with our clients to understand their needs and provide personalized support to help them achieve their financial goals. Key Responsibilities and Duties As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for: * Making outbound and receiving inbound calls to communicate with customers and resolve their queries * Consistently and accurately documenting all information pertaining to accounts, including customer interactions and loan applications * Using basic business math to solve problems and make informed decisions * Speaking clearly, concisely, and effectively to communicate with customers, both verbally and in writing * Maintaining a professional demeanor and showing sensitivity, tact, and empathy when interacting with customers * Following written and/or verbal instructions to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures * Working within the laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and protect our organization's credibility * Processing card payments accurately and efficiently * Performing the initial approval of potential borrowers by thoroughly examining their applications through multiple software systems * Reviewing applicants to evaluate their eligibility for loan and making recommendations to management * Following up with customers to clarify important points and provide additional information * Finalizing loan details and keeping customers informed of their obligations and rules * Remaining up-to-date regarding lending and other financial services to provide expert advice and guidance to customers * Creating and renewing records to ensure accurate and efficient record-keeping * Identifying customer needs and exploring all options available to customers to provide personalized support and solutions * Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and adapt quickly to changing company needs * Ability to multi-task by speaking with customers and typing notes simultaneously * Meeting monthly individual goals as set by management to ensure high levels of performance and productivity Essential and Preferred Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need: * Excellent Customer Service skills, with a proven track record of providing exceptional service to customers * Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner * Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure and navigate tense situations * Proficient with technology, especially computers, software applications, and phone systems * Minimum of High school diploma/GED * Proficient use of MS: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook * Proficient user of the Internet and cloud-based storage Skills and Competencies Required for Success To excel in this role, you'll need to possess: * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to adapt quickly to changing company needs and priorities * Strong technical skills, including proficiency in MS Office and cloud-based storage * Ability to work independently and as part of a team
