Job Responsibilities As a Pharmacy Technician – Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for: * Precise reading, interpreting, and entering medication orders into the computer system, including dosage calculations, label printing, and acceptance of payment in a timely manner * Contacting physicians' offices and insurance companies to verify the accuracy of patient medication orders * Occasionally, you will be responsible for answering patient calls to arrange and manage new patient medication requests and reorders, which includes verifying and re-verifying benefits * Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medication profiles and order history * Collaborating with the pharmacy team to resolve any issues or discrepancies related to patient medication orders * Providing exceptional customer service to patients and clients, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a timely and empathetic manner Requirements * Current Arizona Pharmacy Technician License * At least six months of experience working in a pharmacy setting * At least six months of work experience with Windows-Based applications, such as Windows, bolthires Office, web navigation, and email applications * Proficiency in using a computer keyboard and mouse for extended periods (8-10 hours) * Ability to sit or stand for the duration of the shift * Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively Preferred Qualifications * At least six months of experience as a pharmacy technician * At least 90 days of experience handling and resolving customer needs via telephone * Experience in healthcare, benefits, and insurance * Experience with clinical charging, coding, and other clinical supporting roles * Customer service experience in an office setting * At least six months of professional work experience, including inbound and outbound telephone customer care * Strong customer support skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Proficiency in using computer programs * Strong data entry skills * Business acumen and ability to work independently Work Environment and Company Culture arenaflex is committed to creating a culture of diversity, empathy, and belonging.
