Fitch Ratings is a leading provider of credit ratings and research, and they are seeking a Market Research Associate/
Senior Market Research Associate to work in their Business & Relationship Management team. The role involves managing a large deal pipeline, ensuring accurate data management, and supporting senior team members in expanding relationships with fund managers and investors. Responsibilities Track, organize, and maintain a comprehensive and accurate database of current and prospective deals/transactions, ensuring all records are up to date and easily accessible Keep track of data related to current and prospective deals, coordinating closely with Fitch’s finance team to ensure proper and timely invoicing.
Prepare summaries related to business growth, revenue growth, and prospective deals at a moment’s notice for senior management Coordinate with Fitch’s finance team to process associated billing and ensure proper revenue management. This area is critical and will have high visibility directly from senior management Manage and organize data within MS Excel and other tools/dashboards to ensure accuracy and consistency. Assist in creating and maintaining templates for recurring reports to senior management Prepare commercial agreement documents, proactively monitor deal status and follow up with internal and external stakeholders to move opportunities forward Schedule and attend client meetings, taking detailed notes and maintaining data in internal systems at the direction of senior BRMs Identify process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance the efficiency of data and revenue management Skills Relevant university degree, preferably in a business, finance, economics, data analytics, or related field Exceptional skills directly related to data management, accounting and invoicing/revenue management Proven experience managing transaction pipelines and accounting/revenue management is preferred High attention to detail is required Strong Excel skills (e.g., lookups/index/pivot tables/macros/shortcuts) with ability to organize and manage large volumes of information and use this to generate summary reports for senior management, often on short notice Self-starter with strong time management and advanced organizational skills
