As a Data Entry Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records within our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to input, update, and manage various types of data efficiently and accurately. Responsibilities:
Β Enter data accurately and efficiently into databases, spreadsheets, and other software systems.
Β Verify accuracy of data by comparing it to source documents or other data sets.
Β Organize and maintain electronic and hard copy files as needed.
Β Perform regular data quality checks to ensure integrity of information.
Β Assist with data cleanup and maintenance projects as assigned.
Β Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.
Β Follow company procedures and guidelines for data entry and recordkeeping.
Β Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information at all times.
Β Provide support to other team members as needed.
Requirements:
Β High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in data entry or related field is a plus.
Β Proven experience in data entry or administrative roles preferred.
Β Proficiency in typing and data entry skills with high accuracy and speed.
Β Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while working quickly.
Β Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Β Familiarity with office software such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Β Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team.
Β Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Β Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Β Adaptability and willingness to learn new tasks or systems as needed.
