Virtual Case Manager | Maine
VocoVision currently has a need for a licensed special education teacher for a remote case management position with a district in Maine. The selected teacher will be assigned a group of K-8 students to case manage. They will be responsible for progress monitoring, meeting with parents, attending IEP meetings, and collaborating with other educators at the district.
Responsibilities:
Β Develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
Β Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other educators to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning experience.
Β Monitor and track student progress and make necessary adjustments to instructional plans.
Β Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Β Stay up-to-date on best practices in special education and incorporate them into your teaching.

Β 1.0 FTE (40 hours)

Β ASAP-End of the School Year
Qualifications:
Β Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Β Valid Maine Certification with Special Education endorsement.
Β 2+ years of experience working in Special Education
