A highly skilled and qualified CoSec and Legal Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in corporate secretarial duties and legal affairs, and experience as a corporate lawyer will be considered a significant bonus.

Key Responsibilities:
Β Corporate Governance and Compliance: Oversee and manage all aspects of corporate governance, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements for our clients across various jurisdictions, with a focus on Singapore.
Β Board Support and Advisory: Provide comprehensive support to Boards of Directors, including preparation for and facilitation of board meetings, minutes taking, and offering expert advice on corporate governance matters.
Β Regulatory Filings and Documentation: Manage all necessary filings with regulatory bodies and ensure the maintenance of statutory books and records are up to date and in compliance with local laws.
Β Legal Support and Advisory: Offer legal support to the organization and its clients, including contract review, legal research, and providing advice on corporate law matters. Experience as a corporate lawyer will be highly valued.
Β Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a key point of contact for shareholders, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication.
Β Continuous Compliance Monitoring: Regularly review and monitor compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory changes, advising on the implementation of necessary policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Β Qualified Chartered Secretary, with membership in a recognized professional body (e.g., ICSA, ICSI).
Β A law degree and/or qualification as a corporate lawyer would be a significant advantage.
Β Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in corporate secretarial and legal roles, preferably within a multinational corporation or professional services firm.
Β Strong knowledge of corporate governance principles, statutory compliance, and regulatory requirements, particularly in Singapore.
Β Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Β Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Β Detail-oriented, with a high degree of accuracy and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
