Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher for a fully remote role. As a Special Education teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting students with various learning, emotional, mental, and physical disabilities by providing individualized instruction and working collaboratively with other educational staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students
Provide direct instruction and support to students with special needs
Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other support staff
Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation of student performance
Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field
Active Delaware Licensure in Special Education
Experience working in virtual or traditional special education settings
Strong understanding of special education laws and IEP processes
Proficiency in using virtual learning platforms and technology tools
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
