Position: Special Education Teacher
Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team in Lillington, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with students with diverse learning needs and the ability to create an inclusive, supportive, and effective learning environment.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the varying needs and interests of students.
Collaborate with parents, teachers, counselors, and administrators to support student success.
Assess students' progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of student performance and progress.
Provide a safe and positive classroom environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field.
Valid North Carolina teaching certification in Special Education
Experience working with children with special needs preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Patience, creativity, and a genuine interest in the well-being and development of students.
