Hourly Pay: Starting at $32/hour (based on experience)
We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our growing team in Monroe, North Carolina. This full-time, in-person opportunity provides a chance to work with students who need specialized support to succeed in the classroom.
As a Special Education Teacher, you will design and implement individualized educational plans, collaborate with colleagues and families, and adjust your teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each student.
Responsibilities:
Β Design, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students.
Β Customize lesson plans and teaching methods to accommodate various learning abilities.
Β Continuously assess student progress and modify teaching strategies as necessary.
Β Foster an inclusive, supportive, and engaging classroom environment.
Β Maintain regular communication with parents and school staff to track student progress and success.
Qualifications:
Β Bachelor's or MasterΒs degree in Special Education.
Β Current North Carolina Special Education Teaching License.
Β Prior experience in a special education role is preferred.
Β Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Β Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
