The Loan Processor III (2nd Mortgages/Home Equity) at Space Coast Credit Union is responsible for preparing loans for closing, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining member relationships. This role involves managing a pipeline of loan files, resolving member issues, and ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete. Responsibilities
Ā Prepares the loan for closing and ensures all closing documents are correct and compliant with regulations.

Ā Ensures loan approval stipulations are met prior to closing and manages third-party requests.

Ā Resolves member problems and assesses needs efficiently to maintain profitable relationships.

Ā Orders necessary documentation from borrowers and external sources for loan decisions.

Ā Reviews asset documentation to ensure compliance with program guidelines.

Ā Boards completed loans and disburses funds as necessary.

Ā Answers incoming calls and assists applicants with loan inquiries.

Ā Maintains up-to-date knowledge of regulations and standards relevant to the position.

Ā Handles a pipeline of 30-50 loan files, meeting processing time goals.

Ā Communicates with borrowers regarding documentation and file progress.

Ā Adheres to productivity and loan quality standards to ensure quality service.

Ā Supports sales efforts by providing appropriate product and service materials to members.

Ā Demonstrates professionalism and effective communication in all interactions.
Requirements
Ā 1 to 3 years of prior processing experience in consumer loan products or mortgage loan processing.

Ā Associate's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

Ā Knowledge of State and Federal guidelines related to mortgage lending, including CFPB regulations.

Ā Bilingual is preferred.
