Position Overview:
The Patient and Family Relations Team Clinical Coordinator is a full-time position with both in-person and work-from home capabilities. Our home office is located in Framingham, MA and offers PTO, sick leave, and full medical and dental benefits.
Position Responsibilities:
Ā Collect, record and review patient demographics/medical information
Ā Serves as primary point of contact for patient-related inquiries
Ā Review medico-legal forms
Ā Follow HIPAA regulations to protect patients confidentiality
Ā Communicates daily scheduling changes, charting, and documentation needs appropriately
Ā Manage phlebotomy requests and coordinate with suppliers
Ā Manage product kit coordination to and from patients
Ā Discuss financial information with patients and possibility of participation in financial-assistance-program
Ā Provide support by establishing payment arrangements for uninsured
Ā Work alongside clinical coordination team facilitating genetic testing orders
Ā Performs other related tasks and duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
Ā Fluent in Spanish/Mandarin/Arabic Ā Advantage
Ā College degree Ā Life Sciences preferred
Ā Strong Communication skills
Ā Strong base knowledge of genetics
Ā Excellent computer skills
Ā Proficient in Microsoft applications
Ā Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ā Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization, and multitasking skills
Ā Outstanding customer service
Ā Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ā Ability to manage and maintain relationships with patients
Ā Ability to work independently and as part of a team
