The position involves maintaining and ensuring complete and appropriate drug therapy in a multidisciplinary pharmaceutical care environment. The role includes preparing, dispensing, and verifying medications for patients, assessing and monitoring drug therapy, and providing drug information and patient education.
Responsibilities
Β Evaluates all physician orders based on a clinical assessment of the patient.

Β Assures the safe and accurate preparation and dispensing of medications including sterile products and investigational drugs.

Β Manages drug therapy to optimize patient outcomes.

Β Maintains professional and technical knowledge through continuing education.

Β Manages the operations of the pharmacy in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Β Adapts behavior to the specific patient population, respecting privacy and communication styles.
Requirements
Β Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field required.

Β Current Pharmacy license in the state of practice required.

Β Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Β Proficient with Windows-style applications and keyboard.

Β Skills necessary to compound pharmaceuticals and operate technical equipment.
