Experienced Texas Family Law Paralegal (Remote Position)
A solo attorney is seeking an experienced Texas family law paralegal to assist with divorce cases and case management. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Texas family law and divorce cases, excellent case management skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Requirements:
Β Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Texas family law paralegal in a law firm setting, with extensive knowledge of divorce procedures and family law matters.
Β Case Management: Must be capable of managing divorce cases from start to finish, including setting hearings, coordinating with clients and opposing counsel, and ensuring timely case progress.
Β Experience working with divorce cases pending in Travis, Williamson counties.
Β Drafting & Procedure: Proficiency in drafting pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents specific to Texas family law. Experienced with document drafting software.
Β Training & Workflow Development: Assist in hiring and training an in-house legal assistant, as well as developing workflows and operating procedures to optimize case management.
Β Communication & Organization: Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to follow up on case developments, and maintain professional client interactions.
Β Work Environment: Must have a quiet home office setup, with a reliable computer, high-speed internet, and necessary remote work equipment. You will be provided with additional access to our firm systems for case management.
Β Self-Motivation & Efficiency: Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple cases efficiently.
