Virtual Special Education Case Manager California
Position: Virtual Special Education Case Manager
Location: Remote (Must be licensed in California)
Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
Grade Levels: K-12
Start Date: Immediate Opening
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage special education services for K-12 students in a virtual school setting
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service providers to ensure student success
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and district special education regulations
Conduct virtual IEP meetings and facilitate communication between all stakeholders
Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
Ensure accurate and timely documentation of services and reports
Requirements:
Masters degree in Special Education or a related field
California special education certification or ability to obtain one
Experience working with IEPs and special education compliance
Strong knowledge of IDEA, state regulations, and virtual education best practices
Proficiency with online learning platforms and virtual case management tools
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Prior experience as a case manager in a school setting is preferred
