Job Summary
The Personal Banker Float drives banking center performance results through strong individual sales performance, while providing superior customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of Citizens Bank products and services.
The ideal candidate will travel to branches across our footprint on a frequent basis, providing guidance and participating in daily operational and sales activities to achieve customer service and business growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Β Assess customers' needs and help them find suitable products to enhance their financial health
Β Inform and guide customers in opening bank accounts, including checking and savings accounts, overdraft protection, and other alternatives
Β Gather customer data to propose consumer products and take credit applications
Β Drive sales through excellent customer service and proactive customer engagement
Β Focus on key behaviors that result in quality new accounts that are relationship-based
Β Lead the conversion of service requests to sales
Β Build camaraderie among the team to deliver on service and sales goals
Β Process customer transactions accurately and in compliance with current policies, procedures, and guidelines
Β Follow regulatory, security, and audit requirements, protecting customer information
Requirements
Β High school education or GED required; some college preferred; pursuing higher education in finance or related fields is a plus
Β Two years previous Banking experience or one year banking experience within Citizens Bank
Β Two years previous customer service background and cash handling experience
Β Two years previous computer experience with Windows, Microsoft Office, and other computer applications, or one year experience with Citizens Bank's technology
Β Knowledge of consumer loans products, taking credit applications, and making recommendations is a plus
