Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Service Manager for a well-respected, multi-location Ag Equipment Sales and Service company.
Qualified applicants understand the importance of doing a job correctly and the value of satisfied customers.
Regular duties include managing a team that does basic diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned agricultural equipment in the shop and service locations.
Responsibilities:
Ā Work with management to oversee all aspects of the Service Department
Ā Assist with assigning jobs to technicians according to their skills and knowledge
Ā Oversee diagnostics, service repairs, assembly and maintenance on all equipment that comes through the shop
Ā Oversee and participate in service training programs
Ā Communicate with management about any customer issues/complaints
Ā Coordinate with other departments to best serve our customers
Ā Maintain a clean area and work in a neat, orderly and safe way.
Requirements:
Ā Superior people and communication skills
Ā Extensive service knowledge in multiple brands of ag equipment
Ā Ability to work flexible hours during peak seasons
Ā Experience managing staff
