Job Summary of Freight Handler:
Staffmark is seeking Freight Handler candidates for different shifts, promising a competitive salary and no requirement for prior experience. Freight Handler are tasked with the safe loading and unloading of materials from incoming vehicles, organizing warehouse space, and treating delicate goods with attentiveness. Job responsibilities also include the operation of machinery such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move goods within the warehouse. Immediate positions are available, accompanied by comprehensive on-the-job training to prepare new hires adequately.
Responsibilities of Freight Handler:
Β Receiving Shipments: Offload, assess, and confirm incoming materials and inventory.
Β Methodically place and categorize items in specified zones to streamline inventory management.
Β Equipment Operation: Handling forklifts, pallet jacks, and other devices to safely relocate materials.
Β Order selection and setup: Assembling and sorting materials for use in production or transportation.
