About the position
The Medical Lab Courier position is a full-time role focused on the safe and timely transportation of medical specimens, lab supplies, and reports between healthcare facilities and a medical lab in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The role requires adherence to healthcare protocols and a commitment to maintaining the integrity of transported materials, particularly during evening shifts.
Responsibilities
Ā Safely transport medical specimens, lab supplies, and documents between various medical facilities and the lab.

Ā Ensure the integrity and timely delivery of all specimens and supplies.

Ā Follow specified routes and schedules to meet delivery timelines.

Ā Maintain accurate records of all pickups and deliveries, ensuring proper documentation is completed.

Ā Adhere to all healthcare protocols for handling medical specimens to avoid contamination or damage.

Ā Conduct routine checks on the company vehicle to ensure it is in proper working condition.
Requirements
Ā Must have a valid driver's license.

Ā Clean driving record with no major violations.

Ā Ability to handle and transport medical specimens with care and attention to detail.

Ā Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work evening shifts (4 PM - 12 AM).

Ā Ability to lift and carry packages (up to 50 lbs).
Nice-to-haves
Ā Familiarity with healthcare protocols and procedures for specimen handling (preferred but not required).

Ā Knowledge of the DFW area is preferred.

Ā Previous experience as a medical courier or in a similar healthcare-related role is a plus.
