Sunbelt is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Digital Special Education Teacher to join our team in providing exceptional educational services to K-12 students with mild to moderate diagnoses.

Β Caseload: K-12 students with mild to moderate diagnoses
Β Duration: Academic school year (with potential for renewal)
Responsibilities: As a Digital Special Education Teacher, you will:
Β Deliver high-quality instruction and support to students with special needs through virtual platforms.
Β Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the student's IEP team.
Β Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student needs and progress.
Β Utilize technology effectively to enhance student engagement and learning experiences.
Β Provide ongoing monitoring and support to ensure student success and progress.
Β Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other members of the educational team to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
Β Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of student progress and participation.
Requirements:
Β Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Β Valid teaching certification in Special Education in the state of Washington.
Β Previous experience working with students who have special needs in an educational setting.
Β Familiarity with virtual teaching platforms and digital instructional tools.
Β Experience in conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and implementing effective teaching strategies.
Β Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Β Technological proficiency and ability to troubleshoot common technical issues.
Β Reliable internet connection and appropriate home office setup.
