Role: Remote Data Analyst
We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst with expertise in SQL and Tableau for a part-time contractor position. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, be capable of working with large datasets, and possess a deep understanding of data visualization.
Experience with Python and data engineering concepts is a significant plus. This role requires excellent client-facing abilities, as the candidate will attend client meetings and contribute
directly to project discussions and deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
● Develop and execute SQL queries to extract, clean, and analyze data from various sources.
● Create dashboards and reports using Tableau & PowerBI to present insights effectively.
● Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights.
● Attend client meetings and present findings in a clear, professional manner.
● Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all deliverables.
● Apply data engineering concepts for data optimization and transformation
● Utilize Python for advanced data analysis and automation where applicable (bonus)
Qualifications:
● Proficiency in SQL & Tableau with a proven track record of data analysis and visualization.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Excellent communication & interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with clients effectively.
● Experience with Python and data engineering concepts is a plus.
● Strong soft skills, including adaptability, collaboration, and professionalism.
● Proficiency with data warehousing concepts and experience using Snowflake.
● Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Work Structure:
● Part-time contractor position.
● Must be available for client meetings during standard business hours.
