Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled School Nurse (RN/LPN) to join our team in Lawrence, MA. The school nurse will provide medical care, promote student wellness, and ensure a safe and healthy learning environment for all students.
- Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care, including first aid, medication administration, and emergency response.
- Monitor and manage student health conditions, including chronic illnesses and allergies.
- Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with state and school health policies.
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to support student well-being.
- Educate students and staff on health-related topics and preventive care.
- Qualifications:
- Valid RN or LPN license in the state of Massachusetts.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a school environment.
