Pharmacy Technician Remote Order Entry
Through our remote service, we serve acute-care hospitals and community based retail pharmacies, providing you an opportunity to practice hospital pharmacy outside of a hospital setting. This unique approach to pharmacy operations results in flexible work schedules, a team environment and time for you to focus on what you do best รย patient care.
Cardinal Health Remote Pharmacy Services is currently searching for a highly energetic and clinically oriented pharmacy technician to join our remote pharmacy team. The pharmacy technician is responsible for answering the telephone, handling calls from hospital staff and retail patients, and assisting pharmacists with order entry operations.
This position requires you to work within our licensed pharmacy and not from your home.
Responsibilities:
รย Assist Pharmacists and other Technicians with daily tasks
รย Handle doctor calls and faxes
รย Provide excellent customer service to customers
รย Works on projects as requested by Pharmacy Director
รย Performs order entry as needed
รย Maintain friendly and helpful attitude at all times when dealing with medical professionals and customers
รย Knowledge and understanding of a retail pharmacy
Qualifications:
รย High School degree or equivalent
รย Previous work experience in a hospital setting and/or retail pharmacy is preferred
รย Proven customer service skills
รย Must be registered or licensed as required by the State Board of Pharmacy
รย National certification is preferred
รย 3+ years Pharmacy Technician experience, preferred

รย Work typically involves regular review of output by work lead or supervisor
รย Refers complex unusual problems to supervisor
Anticipated hourly range: $18.10 per hour - $25.980per hour
