Key Responsibilities - Remote Care Coordinator
รย Responsible for efficiently processing inbound faxes and accurately entering data
รย Responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls, with ability to determine needs and provide one call resolution
รย Responsible for reporting Adverse Events within the required timeframe
รย Create and complete accurate referrals and applications and keep updated on policy or procedural changes
รย Investigate and resolve patient/physician inquiries and concerns in a timely manner
รย Enter detailed information into company proprietary software while conversing via telephone
รย Place outbound phone calls for patient follow ups or confirmations
รย Demonstrate superior customer support talents
รย Interact with the patient referral sources to process new applicants
รย Steward patient accounts from initial contact through final approval/denial
รย Prioritize multiple, concurrent assignments and work with a sense of urgency
รย Maintaining quality and providing an empathetic and supportive experience to the patient by controlling the patient conversation, educating the caller as they provide effective and efficient strategies and processes
Education and Experience - Remote Care Coordinator
รย High School diploma or equivalent preferred
รย 2-4 years Care Coordinator experience and/or training desired
รย Or equivalent combination of education and experience in the pharmaceutical industry
รย Experience should include knowledge of practices and procedures commonly used in a call center or customer service environment
รย Knowledge in insurance billing methods and general pharmacy operations, preferred
รย Ability to utilize all systems for maximum efficiencies (Word, Excel, MS Outlook, company proprietary software - ConnectSource, telephone and call center software)
รย Manage a high level of productivity, preferred
รย Ability to multitask while conversing, preferred
Benefits and Pay - Remote Care Coordinator
รย Starting pay rate of $20/hour
รย Monday through Friday schedule that varies between 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Central Standard Time Zone
