Summary
The Production Team Member is responsible for working on a production floor assembling parts by hand, using tools or machines.
Essential Functions (To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)
ĆĀ Maintain a high level of quality for the products produced
ĆĀ Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances
ĆĀ Effectively use hand tools and/or air tools
ĆĀ Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards
ĆĀ Pack and store materials and products
ĆĀ Visually inspect the quality of in-coming production line materials, eliminate defects
ĆĀ Meet daily production goals through teamwork and continuous improvement initiatives
ĆĀ Perform all assembly-related tasks and assignments in a safe and timely manner
ĆĀ Ensure equipment and workstations are cleaned daily
ĆĀ Support and communicate with Team Leaders on a daily basis
ĆĀ Maintain housekeeping & 3R5S environment
ĆĀ Follow Mobis guidelines (according to handbook) and other policies established by department
ĆĀ Read and/or enter data through computer
ĆĀ Promote a team atmosphere
ĆĀ Assist with creation and completion of improvement and/or cost reduction ideas
ĆĀ Complete check sheets, reports, forms, etc as assigned & with accuracy
ĆĀ Comply with all safety rules and guidance, as well as report all recognized hazards
ĆĀ All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications (The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required and preferred for this position.)
Required Education & Experience:
ĆĀ High school diploma or equivalent
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
ĆĀ Basic reading and computer skills
ĆĀ Good verbal and written communication skills
ĆĀ Attention to detail and ability to detect quality defects
ĆĀ Ability to learn new tasks quickly and follow detailed work instructions
ĆĀ Ability to be a team player in a team working environment
ĆĀ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
ĆĀ Ability to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift
ĆĀ Ability to work extended hours and overtime as needed on short notice
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:
ĆĀ May need to obtain a forklift license once hired in the position.
