Job Description
This is a hybrid position working between two different departments. This position repairs, maintains, and installs soft drink fountain equipment, beverage coolers, and vending equipment. Other responsibilities include servicing vending machines by collecting revenue, conducting inventory, and restocking needed products.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
ΓΒ Assembles and prepares equipment to be installed in customer accounts
ΓΒ Observes mechanical devices in operation to diagnose issues
ΓΒ Dismantles devices to access, remove, and replace defective parts
ΓΒ Utilizes test equipment to identify defective parts
ΓΒ Operates company vehicles, forklifts, and special moving equipment to transport beverage equipment
Vending Driver Responsibilities
ΓΒ Drives company vehicle to customer accounts to service vending equipment
ΓΒ Loads vending truck in the morning with needed products for the day
ΓΒ Utilizes smart device to count money, inventory product, and refill machines
ΓΒ Physically refills machines to capacity, rotates products, and removes expired inventory
ΓΒ Cleans machines as needed, and reports any functional issues, or customer requests
Job Requirements
ΓΒ High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
ΓΒ Must have a valid driverΓΒs license and proof of insurance (SR-22 insurance is not acceptable)
ΓΒ DOT med card required to operate vending trucks
ΓΒ Familiarity with common hand tools and must be mechanically inclined
ΓΒ Comfortable with smart devices and tablets
ΓΒ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Physical Demands
ΓΒ Frequently lift 25-50 lbs. and occasionally move by pushing or pulling up to 900 lbs. (loaded on a cart or pallet)
ΓΒ Required to regularly stand, walk, lift product from the floor to waist height, or from shoulder to overhead.
ΓΒ Will use hands to feel and operate tools and products.
ΓΒ Work is conducted in customer businesses where our vending machines and beverage equipment are being utilized.
